A telephone numbering plan is a type of numbering scheme used in telecommunications to allocate telephone numbers to subscribers and to route telephone calls in a telephone network. A closed numbering plan imposes a fixed total length to numbers. An open numbering plan features variance in the length of telephone numbers.
This chapter will cover the details about the numbering plan and the dial plan that we used in the design.
For domestic calls, the subscribers have to dial:
0 + Area Code (45) + Phone number
For international calls:
00 + Country Code + Area Code + Phone number
The subscriber can reach the CO with the hotline number: 466 (ion)
The subscriber will bear the number: 045-xxx-xxxx
